The shoemaker fudge wheel is used to mark the double stitches on the welt, before sewing outsole and welt together. Furthermore, it is needed to finish the stitches with wax.
The fudge wheel is made in my workshop and for now available in 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 stitches per inch. It is has a very good grip and can be easily guided around the welt.
My recommendation: You will get the best work result if you make the welt slightly wet (damp) and heat the fudge wheel slightly up.
