Quality shoemaker tools, materials and wooden shoe lasts
My name is Julian - inspired by the craftsmanship of my grandfather, I made traditional hand-sewn shoes for 3 years. With the knowledge what shoemakers need and my engineering background, I started to make my own tools and finally running my own workshop for shoemaker tools. Beside the new tools I refurbish used German tools from the golden times of shoemaking.
I would be happy to provide you with everything you need in the field of bespoke shoemaking and shoemaking as a hobby. Feel free to ask me for custom orders.

For beginners in shoemaking
As I have started with shoemaking, it was laborious to collect all necessary tools to get started. Here I am offering shoemaker starter kits, which comes with all tools you need like shoemaker hammer, lasting pliers, shoemaker knife, fudge wheel and awls. Additionally, the sets include a collection of shoemaker books, which provides you knowledge in pattern making and construction of handmade shoes. If the sets are sold, please write me a message and I can make a reservation for you.

Shoemaker tools - Made in Berlin, Germany
I do the whole production process from the technical drawing to the finished product,
to offer you high quality shoemaking tools.
Shoemaker last stand
Solid last stand for tabletop mounting. The stand is used to hold the last while removing it from the finished shoe. It is also helpful for several other work steps in the shoemaking process.
Seam gauges
Seam gauges are used in the upper making process, where parallel lines in different distances are needed. One example is the addition for lasting.
Junker & Ruh SD28 bobbins
I made a batch of bobbins for the Junker & Ruh SD28 sole stitcher. The work is very delicate and requires the patience of a watchmaker. Follow the link to get one of them.
Leather scraper
An essential tool in shoemaking is the scraper. It is used to smooth sole edges and heels right before dyeing/ waxing and burnishing. The scraper is made in my workshop.
Sneaker making kit
Introducing my first set of cup sole and sneaker last for everyone who wants to make sneakers and not traditional hand sewn shoes. Materials and sneaker making tool sets are also available.
Shoemaker fudge wheel
The latest release from my workshop are shoemaker fudge wheels. They come with my classic wooden handle, are short and light for the best guidance around the welt. It is the third basic hand tool in my product line.
Shoemaker welt knife
This is a series of shoemaker welt knifes made from high-alloy cold work steel with heat treatment. It is used, to trim the welt and beveling leather edges. The knife is also available for left handed craftsmen.
Replacement tool handle
After long years of service, the handles of the shoemaker irons age due to the constant heat up with the spirit lamp. I offer quality replacement handles in the traditonal German shape.
Welting board
It´s a great tool to support you at the bottom making process. The welting board fixes the shoe proper on your legs with the bottom up. That makes the welting process more comfortable and leads to precise and clean stitches.
Clamp for upper crimping
I produce crimping clamps for blocking in my workshop. Uppers are made using this technique, especially in the bespoke shoemaking and bootmaking trades, where laces are undesirable. For exhample chelsea boots. The clamp can be ordered in my shop. It is conceivable to make this tool also with other dimensions as "Made-to-order".
Shoemaker channel opener
The second tool I made in my workshop is a channel opener. It is an basic tool to open and shape channels in the shoemaking process. It is used basically for the making of holdfasts and stitiching channels.
