The fudge wheels are new old stock and fitted with a new handle from my workshop. It´s available in 8, 10 and 12 stitches per inch.
The shoemaker’s fudge wheel is used to mark the double stitches on the welt prior to attaching the outsole and welt. It is also employed to finish the stitches with wax.

My recommendation: You will get the best work result if you make the welt slightly wet (damp) and heat the fudge wheel slightly up.
