Vintage cast iron leather splitting machine. It is used to split down leather to the required thickness, like it is needed for welts, toe puffs or heel stiffeners. The machine was disassembled, cleaned and greased. The splitting knife has a width of 150 mm and is sharpened. It has no damages.
The desired thickness is set up by the two wing bolts on the top of the machine. The machine has 4 mounting eyes to fix it on a work bench.
