A slide box wheel is used for the decoration of the upper heel edge. In the picture you can see the marks. For refined shoemaking it is a very nice way to give the shoe a perfect finish. The tool looks roughly made but has a very good handling, the impression depth is adjustable and the marks of the wheel are very clear.
