I am selling awls in "German" shape for shoemaking and leather works. The awls are new old stock and from manufacturer King. Sold in pairs.
IMPORTANT: As a rule, awls need to be sharpened before they are used for the first time. Triangular files are used for this. After, the awl tip should be polished with a leather strop and polishing compound. Welting awls are sharpened from the top and stitching awls from both sides. When working with awls, always make sure that they are waxed before sewing.
